I totally agree with you,,, Simon is not stupid by any means... He moved the earnings report
One day before the vote / special meeting because he knew the earnings report was great ,,
And the stock price would surge....getting share holders pumped to vote yes...
He also knew he would have to postpone the special meeting to soliicit proxies and wait 3 weeks..,,
knowing that would affect the stock price negatively and still going ahead with that decision to me means he is in a hurry and can't wait for the 3 weeks needed to pass,,,
He said in his interview his goal is to become a 4 billion dollar company in the next 2 years,,,
First thing on his list is to get bigger... he also referred to keeping his foot on the gas pedal...
What will it be ?? Maybe an acquisition,, he said the states he is interested in are the biggest,,
California, New York , and Florida ,, Tilray is also interested in Portugal, Poland and Israel..

Imagine being the CEO of the biggest marijuana company in Canada maybe the world in an industry just staring off with his ambition / ego ....
