What I meant to say,”

What I meant to say,”

was that Tilray reported a )1 billion net loss last quarter, didn't they? Or was it $1.5 billion?

Youd think a CEO making $30 million a year in total compensation would show better results.

Even I could report increased revenue if I had the investors money he had to put  $250 million into bankrupt Hexo - I sure wouldn't have invested $200 million in Nedmen.

Do you think Irwin Simon, CEO of Tilray,

MAY be overpaid?

The $34 million worth of shares he has sold weren't purchased with his own cash - they were options granted as part of his annual compensation.
Nothing wrong with a guy getting paid well - but Tilray has never made a profit and the common everday shareholder uses his own cash to buy shares.
Jury is out on the alcohol side, so while he may have built Tilray into one of the largest cannabis companies in the world - it's never made money and sales/market share have fallen. Too bad he has to rely on alcohol to keep Tilray afloat.
If Tilray insiders have no confidence in risking their own cash in Tilray - why would the average Joe?
