If we lived in China, or some socialist country, we would likely all get paid roughly the same. As we are in a Capialist country you are compensated based on what the market will pay.

Someone packing MJ into boxes is not going to get paid the same as the CEO.

Better education, better skills, more experience, etc etc leads to better pay.

That's reality.
