The whole notion that Tilray or any other

The whole notion that Tilray or any other

Canadian cannabis lp is going to start shipping medical or rec cannabis into the US the day after legislation is uninformed, and lacking in common sense reality.

There have been some medical research shipments - but those are one off type approvals.

There are Canadian export laws, US federal hurdles and individual state hurdle - any importer/exporter is going to have to go thru a rigorous and lengthy approval and licencing process on numerous government levels.

Then the logistics of an actual supply chain (via alcohol? - what nonsense) - and the protectionist lobbies.

If either rescheduling or full legalization happened today - it would still be years before any significant cannabis was imported into the U.S.

So I ask again - why are Tilray longs waiting for years - with no guarantee they'll ever actually get approval when they could invest in US MSOs operating in 40 legalized states - today.

RE:It’s against Canadian trade law to import

Keeler wrote:(or export) recreational cannabis.

So many people gardless of US legalization, why do promoters suggest Canadian companies will start exporting into the US?

Free trade?
Well - if Canadacdoesnt allow import, why would the US, who legislators are lobbied by the US cannabis sector?

But I guess if Canada DOES export into the US with legalization - then the giant MSOs will export into Canada, right?

TLRY Tilray Brands - were not better than anybody

The reason Tilray cant import medical into the US is that even if they re-sceduole  MJ they need a FDA licence to do so

you cant call it Medical or perscribe it as medical if its not produced by a FDA aproved facility that holds a valid licence to provide the FDA aproved product

there is only one company in North America with such aproval.

i invite everyone to do a little research on this and you will see what i say is true.
