Tilray recent Brewery purchases
Finished off afterhours up over 15.3% and over 3M shares bought. $2.56
Comments about those various brews available in the 8 breweries is they are already tops in their markets.
Irwin did say in the news conference that some of these brews could be sent into Canadian markets.

So my question is, if these craft beers are so successful why did AB sell? There has to be a purpose behind it all.

I could see why the craft beers would want a degree of seperation from AB, but would AB not want to hold onto these assets if their Bud Light sales were slipping? I'm starting to think they are looking at Tilray as a holding entity similar to what STZ is doing with CGC. You just never know.

AB needs to concentrate on Bud. Took a beating. Big market share there $85 million cash for 8 breweries and all assets...including kegs of beer. No strings attached. AB's responsibility-Easy transition for TLRY Brands. Very far removed from CGC-STZ. Cheers, V
