Smoke damage

Smoke damage I've worked as a building operator in several hotels and have thought of some concerns. The things I will mention will probably be addressed by insurance as expediently as possible. I am considering buying shares here because it does look like it should go higher in anticipation of being up and running sometime soon.

Just on the physical building side of things, I would assume that these hotels have diesel generators in them, so once they were fully evacuated the rooftop units and air handlers would run for days. Your breakfast room would demand at least 400 cfm of (smoke laden) air until the generators die. Pressurized hallways would be a similar story, but with exhaust ducts keeping the building in a pressurized state the smoke would collect inside the building. All beds and all furniture would need to be replaced. Getting that stuff thrown out is a job in itself.

I am mostly concerned of how long it will actually take to de-smoke the place.

Keeping an eye on the charts tomorrow with some dry powder in hand...

Condolances to friends and family who have been displaced by this fire.. I thought this would be like the slave lake fire a few years back but I am amazed at how much destruction there has been.
