RE:2 new institutions listed today.NASDAQ requires institutions to file 13F statements quarterly of all holdings which I find very useful. You can see the TSLA holding here:

Assuming the numers greendaze's has quoted and the NASDAQ numbers are both correct, we can see that institutional holdings have increased by about 6.3 million shares (42.69% now versus 42.08% on December 31, 2021)

What is more interesting imo, is that the number of institutions owning TSLA has is much higher using greendaze's numbers (3,311 versus 2,761 as of Dec 31, 2021 using the NASDAQ site).

Perhaps greendaze's numbers are broken down into beneficial holders as opposed to administrators (bankd for example) which might administer many positions.

I just initiated a TSLA position (in the form of TSLA.NE which is a much more efficient way for Canadians to participate) this week so I haven't checked the numbers in the past.
