I appreciate SPDM's voicing his concerns regarding the VP4 scope sterilizer. In fact I thought it only capable of handeling scopes up to 3M in length.
Upon actually reading, again, the tech's on it I remember that it had already been cleared for use in both Canada and Europe as the only system that can actually, not just disenfect but sterilize deudenoscopes up to 3.5M in length. U.S. clearence for that same scope, as of now, is pending
Assuming that you are a citizen of the U.S., or not, I find it astounding that one of the most advanced countries in the world is still allowing patients to be made ill or in some cases die from contaminated scopes during a relitavely simple medical procedure when many of those same scopes could be sterilized using the VP4.
Your erronous assumptions made on this site are therefore beneficial as it gives us, and hopefully you a chance to correct either your honest, or wilful, misconseptions regarding the VP4.
