The Push South....I hope that most of you were not "taken off the scent" and have hung in there through this most challenging time!
Through my absence I had no doubt that the stock price would recover and we have built up a very strong base which will push us higher as the market fears subside and the Trelawney Story moves forward.
The Push South:
Section 86+00E: E11-92........57.3 metres @ 1.57 g/t
E11-100......54 metres @ 1.05 g/t
Section 87-00E: E11-94........72 metres @ .80 g/t
The mineralization was found in headings 9500N to 9600N in a 100 metre X 100 metre block.
In order to determine continuity I looked for similar findings in Sections 88+00E & 89+00E. In Section 88+00E there has not been any drilling along those headings. However, in Section 89+00E hole E11-69....103 metres @ .51 g/t did establish common mineralization in headings 9500N to 9600N. These factual findings demonstrate a block of mineralization that is 100 metres X 100 metres over a length of 300 metres. This block alone contains about 250,000 ounces of gold!
The Push South at this point in time seems to be coming to an end along the present trend. However, having said that it is too early to make a final call...further drilling is required to determine the "nature of the beast"!
The mineralization pushed its way South West from the Source to the North East, at depth...it followed a fault system and along the way was intrusive with the host rocks. The "wave" which is about 300 metres in width found its way to the South West and the latest drilling points to an end in the present headings. The pathway is always very unpredictable and just when you think it may be coming to an end it pushes further on or "splays off" in another direction!
I truly believe that the Trelawney Team has just scratched the surface of the Cote Lake Deposit and it will take years to prove up the deposit. If the limits of the deposit were to end today....we will still be looking at 8 million ounces!
It is very important to remember that now that the Augen Gold Deal is all but complete they will focus their attention at the source...spot a couple of drills to the North East...a place that they have avoided in the past in order to not let the true story of the source be confirmed. The mineralization in this region of the Cote Lake Deposit are most impressive and the ounces will add on significantly as drilling proves up the deposit.
The Trelawney Team has done a most amazing job in a short period of time...they and others are very much aware what is at stake and the clock is ticking....they must demonstrate value before they are taken out!
Once the Augen Gold Deal is complete....it is game on!
I will be very much surprised if we are not taken out before the end of the year!
"They" sat on their hands the last time around when opportunity presented itself...history will not be repeated this time around....a buying frenze is about to begin with Trelawney being the focus of a bidding war!
