In today's edition of Lobo Tiggre's Speculator's Digest he gives his take on the latest economic data & explains why he was buying a #Uranium stock during last week's market meltdown. 'The one exception to my “wait to see the whites of the recession’s eyes” marching orders is uranium. Uranium rose in three of the last four recessions (very slightly in one), and went sideways in the fourth.'

'The angst is palpable. It’s not as bad as the disgust and despair we saw in 2022—just before uranium doubled in 2023—but the apathy has good companies on sale. I do see this as an opportunity. In fact, the stock I backed up the truck for on Black Monday is a uranium stock. Yes, current prices are enough to incent new uranium production. We see that happening around the world today. But it’s not enough.'

'New demand keeps coming and coming… and climate-change panic keeps adding fuel to that fire.'

'However, it takes years to permit and build a new mine. So, after the current crop of restarts and reheats come on line, I think we’re going to see years of worsening supply deficits. (We’ve charted this in our free uranium report.) That should be good for uranium prices—and great for the better uranium stocks.'
