Millstream Mines broadens Tamarack land position
2006-02-02 14:47 ET - News Release
Mr. Ernest Harrison reports
MILLSTREAM EXPANDS PROPERTY POSITION IN MADISON COUNTY
Millstream Mines Ltd. has extended its Madison county, Montana, Tamarack property land position to investigate indicated base mineralization. An initial surface grab sample returned assays of 1.71 per cent copper, 21.41 per cent lead, with 0.17 ounce per ton gold and 8.78 ounces per ton silver. The assays appear to confirm the opinion of Dr. Cam Cheriton and Phil A. Brown, PGeo, both qualified persons under NI 43-101, that the presence of base minerals in the area will enhance the exploration potential of Millstream's Tamarack property (see Stockwatch, Dec. 20, 2004). Millstream intends to follow up with channel sampling and further assays of this geological discovery.
H. Robert Burger III, in his report submitted to the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology, which has the title, bedrock geology of the Sheridan district, Madison county, Montana, states, "The Tamarack orebodies occupy replacement zones within marble layers adjacent to intrusive masses." The management observes a similarity of deposit types on the Tamarack to that found by Coronado Resources Ltd. (see Coronado Resources news in Stockwatch, Jan. 26, 2006).
