As for the same families running America, well, does anyone really believe the President has much control? And you cant blame the Republicans...I mean they are no better or worse than the Democrats we have playing the game. In fact, the two parties are basically doing the same thing, increasing the size and scope of govt and the debt. Whatever it takes to make the poeple more and more dependent on govt....hey, why do you think they want to import so many poor Mexicans, a whole new underclass to be dependent upon them!!
Saw an interesting # the other day...the US budget deficit for the each year since we went to war in Afganistan and Iraq = ....you guessed it, a few billion LESS than we have spent in those two conflicts each year.
Poor Bush...if he didnt take action against Saddam he was screwed, and since he did, he was screwed. IF the Iraqis can make a go of their country now, Bush will go down in history as a great President and liberator. Otherwise he wont come off much worse than Jimmy Carter. Statistically, you are safer from random violence in Bahgdad NOW than you are in NYC or Washington, DC or a couple other US cities...so I guess it's going better than the media/Anti-America crowd wants you to believe.
