The Question.

Dear Pip,
Oh Pip, what am I going to do with you?  Thought you were finally seeing the light the last time this happen at the first of the year.  When you come out of this holodeck fastasy of your that all of us are standing around patting you on the back saying good job.  Maybe. just maybe you can see a little reality.  Not much, not with that nose of your stuck in an account book.
So you begged Ucore to prove you wrong.  That until the first paying contract, be it DOD grant or OEM outtake that the only place Ucore can get money to run the company is from stock sales and line of credit backed by that stock.
So In your great business wisdom, it would be better for Ucore to not to sell stock or get credit secured by stock and go bankrupted and not build a commerial plant in LA.  For DOD and US businesses and government to be helded hostage to China's demands.
Just so you would not be proven wrong?
You are good with numbers, ask yourself this.  How many shares outstanding does Ucore have?  How many shares do other rare earth companies have?  I am not talking market cap. Pip.  Just the number of shares.  I looked it up one time and Ucore was the lowest by a wide margin.  They have to survive to get to DOD and OEM contracts.  If they had listen to you, they would have when belly up years ago.
One more thing.  Did or did I not post that DOD had added to the contract by adding a fifth element to the contract and that there would be a delay.  With every delay, Ucore needs money to get through the delay.

Dear Pip,  Again get your head out of the account ledger.  Yes, Ucore has come to the share holders one too many times.  Again nothing we can do about it accept bite the bullet and write it off as the cost of bring a product to market.  Am I happy about it, NO.  I would think other people are not either.  But endless harpping about it.  What good does it do?  ...more

What is the exact source for the claim that DOD added a 5th element? Is that just Mark "Mr. Honesty" MacDonald privately telling Dragon "Gets Every Detail Correct" smyth7? From what I recall of the recent webinar, the CFO made it sound like it was Ucore's decision to delay the DOD contract work, and didn't mention anything about DOD adding a 5th element or any new ...more

"GM signed with MP about 6 months ago." No, exactly 2 1/2 years ago. Well, maybe that's 6 "Ucore" months. Dec 9, 2021 NR: General Motors and MP Materials Enter Long-Term Supply Agreement to Scale Rare Earth Magnet Sourcing and Production in the U.S. Also see Pip post on Ucore delays
