Abcourt Mines Inc. is a Canada-based junior mining company. The Company is engaged in gold producer and exploration company with strategically located properties in northwestern Quebec, Canada. Its projects include The Sleeping Giant Mine, Discovery Properties, Flordin Property, The Elder Mine and The Tagami Property, Abcourt-Barvue Project, Vendome Property, Aldermac Property, Jonpol Property and Other Properties. The Sleeping Giant Mine property is located half-way between Amos and Matagami, in Abitibi, Quebec, in the territory covered by the Plan Nord of the Quebec government. It comprises four mining leases covering an area of approximatively 458 hectares and 69 mining claims. The Discovery project has 166 claims with a total area of 4,166 hectares. The property is located about 30 km to the north-west of Lebel-sur-Quevillon, Quebec. The Flordin property is located approximately 25 km to the north of Lebel-sur-Quevillon, Quebec. It consists of 25 cells covering 976 hectares.

Mr. Renaud Hinse, president and C.E.O. of Abcourt Mines Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ABI)(BERLIN: ABI)(FRANKFURT: ABI), is pleased to announce the results of hole J09-2B drilled on section 500 W on the Jonpol property near Amos, Quebec. This hole was drilled from north to south with a dip of 75 degrees at the collar flattening to 38 degrees at 200 m depth. Two mineralized zones were cut. At a depth of about 200 meters from surface, a series of silver-copper-zinc intersections were obtained as follows:

Assays were done at Technilab S.G.B.Inc, a qualified laboratory. Assays for hole J09-1B are pending. Our objective at Jonpol is to extend the known mineralized zones and eventually to locate a large massive sulphide deposit.

As indicated previously, a major drilling programme (10,000 meters) will start on January 18 next on the Elder-Tagami property. A contract for the first phase of this programme has been awarded.

Abcourt Mines Inc. is an exploration and development company with strategically located properties in Northwestern Quebec, Canada. The Abcourt-Barvue project with 43-101 silver-zinc ore reserves and resources and the Elder mine with 43-101 gold resources and the Aldermac property with historical copper-zinc resources are all former producers.
