Abcourt Mines Inc. > Merger deal is

Merger deal is

horrible for ani shareholders. New ceo is a clown lining his own pocket at abi shareholder expense.. Pershimex so called mine has never been mined in like 100 years and is basically a hole in the ground that never really even been explored...Bulk sample is low tonnage, just few thousand tons in total,, needing major exploration investment to firm up more ounces, if there are any. Abcourt don't have funds to explore Pershimex properties, let alone Elder, Sleeping Giant, or Discovery. Why abcourt pick up more tenements that won't go into production? Abcourt need merger with partner that has strong balance sheet to fund capex at Elder, Sleeping Giant, barvue. One positive of deal is that all these fallow mining tenements in quebec that will never be mined are controlled by quebecois. Maybe these abcourt quebecois can line up a government handouts company from other quebecois burocrats in Montreal who will give then some cheese just because they are brothers? Quebecois at abcourt control all of nothing instead of being part of something big. Total clown show! Really disgusting.

Illogical.  Three seats are held by Board Members holding about 40% of shares.  They would not support a horrible deal for themselves.

Illogical? These three abcourt board members have proven track record of making good decisions for shareholders and have increased company profitability and shareholder value amazingly! Due to these board members excellence in their jobs, I have a steady stream of increasing dividends and massive long term capital gains I have recently realized on my abcourt position! I am so wealthy now I plan on ...more

You are using a strawman argument - you know I wrote "they would not support a horrible deal for themselves."  You must admit that the Hinse family has a track record of making good deals for themselves.  Now that the situation has changed and the Hinse family only makes money if the stock price goes up, are you claiming that the Hinse family would support a horrible deal that ...more

I think it is the French that have a saying and I paraphrase, the more things change the more things stay the same. Truly you have stated a fact that the hinse are most excellent in doing deals that only benefitted themselves, not the wider audience of abcourt common shareholders. Abcourt shareholders have gone from one self dealing CEO to another! The more things change the more they stay the ...more

I could not see any benefits of acquiring another non producing assets here.. How many assets ABI have that not been developed.. If abi have lots of cash then i could see the the potentials .. Abi do not even have enough cash to develop such assets.. I could not see any directions where this company is going..

Hi Brownbear2 Maybe the deal was by 5 board members that have no holding in Abcourt . I would guest that the voting was 6 to 2 or 5 to3 . Mr Hamelin is on both company  BOD and could not vote due to his conflict of interest. I still can't believe that Abcourt shareholders have no saying in the deal proposed. Fernand
