What happened to RGC (NOT Sprott)

What happened to RGC (NOT Sprott)

August 20, 2012

It is with great sadness that we report the sudden passing of Scott Weekes our former CEO and President on August 19, 2012. Scott lost his battle with cancer at the age of 51. Scott had recently taken a leave of absence to care for his wife Anne Laite who was also battling cancer. Anne lost her battle, passing away just two days prior to Scott on August 17, 2012. Our deepest condolences go out to Scott and Anne's families and friends.

Throughout his years in the mineral exploration industry, Scott remained focused on generating top-notch projects and created a diversified portfolio of properties while staying true to his core values of honesty, kindness and integrity. He will truly be missed by his friends and colleagues in the industry.

To honour both of their careers in Geology, Anne as a High School Earth Sciences Teacher, and Scott as an Exploration Geologist, a bursary has been set up at UBC, their alma mater. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Scott Weekes and Anne Laite Memorial Bursary in Geological Sciences (Attn: Valerie Titford, 1505 -- 6270 University Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z4) or by visiting https://www.supporting.ubc.ca/weekeslaite. The website will be active at 8:00 am (PST) Friday August 24, 2012.

His leave of absent, then his death sent the company into a downward spiral.  Not Eric Sprott.  2 examples of a company taking a dump "because of Sprott" is fake news.  He had atleast 3 companies last year he showed interest in and they took of like a bat out of hell.  Numbnuts.
