In spite of the economy there were companies which found a way to move ahead and now have operating mines. Management had goals and remained focused on them and didn't give up.
On the other hand there were companies like Adex with management faint of heart who were afraid of the economy and used it as an excuse to sit on their thumbs and do nothing for a few years.
The J. Errol Farr referred to in the article, was Persident and CEO, and was was dumped from these jobs in late May. It's hardly surprising because if you read the article you get a sense of the great resource that Adex has, but with a management team frankly that was scared of their own shadows and content to just sit back and collect a pay check.
