A Dose of Realism Helps Keep Gary DownIf I was Andre, I would wait until after the AGM to announce Mexico.. The best strategy for long-term shareholders is incremental increases in news and updates... There are lots of announcements that could be made: updates on the deals in Nigeria, Kenya, Ethipoia, maybe a new partnership in the US, etc... the company is definitely with holding developments that we would like to know more about
Only people with nothing going on in their lives, are insane enough to continually "expect" a news release any moment that will send the stock to $0.50.. . If you are one of those people, then you should seek professional help... For the stock to hit $0.50, Andre would have to do a roadshow to retail investors, and BNN appearances every week.. it's never going to happen because HE DOES NOT CARE about the share price in the short term... He is only concerned with building a business for the long-term, and the windfall will only come when the company is sold... it makes more sense to sell the company in a few years when revenues are higher (since the price will probably be derived from a multiple of sales)
People believe what they wish was true... that is why Gary is convinced a huge news release is imminent (he has believed this for nearly half a year)... I've said before that even when the Meixco announcement does come, it will probably be vague and have limited impact on the share price... but the impact of the Mexico news would be greater if there is a build up of news beforehand, that guides investors down a breadcrumb trail of long-term value creation
