I don't think this is going anywhere anytime soon

It was a mining company which may still hold property assets, but may not.  There's no company website.  The head suit ( Jean Desmarais) is with some investment company and has been on some corporate boards.  He apparently still helps wealthy people manage their money, so he's not a full-time mining savant or anything.  Whatever he's doing with this, I imagine it will be in the mining sector, which seems to be his field of expertise.

The agm (who knows who was there?) was to decide about a share consolidation.

I think something is going to happen here, but who knows what it could be?  Since I think this is going to sit idle for the forseeable future, I'm out.

If you hear anything exciting, keep in touch!  Until then, GLTA.

Umm just a little heads up, you may want to do a little more digging on the Desmarais name... he isn’t just an investment guy.. his family owns power Corp. and has for a very long time.. for those unfamiliar with .p.c. They own great West life/ London life, investors group, and a whole host of other companies, the Desmarais family is also a very big wig in Canadian politics. Virtually Every prime ...more

Lol, I thought the name sounded familiar. There certainly could be something big going on, but it's a giant question mark.  The only question noted at the agm was a share consolidation.  I guess a penny per share ain't too bad for a shell with no discernable future and a Power Corp connection.

Thanks for the information Martindale, I feel more comfortable now after knowing this, I know it's a long shot gamble but it wasn't reinstated for no reason! Could be a good one!

Upon doing some more DD.. I believe that I am fortunate to own shares in a company that this family is in charge of under two cents... And sometimes shell companies reinstate in order to bring another private company public! This could be a good buy! Holding tight for news!
