The iShares Core U.S. Aggregate Bond ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of the total U.S. investment-grade bond market. The index measures the performance of the total U.S. investment-grade bond market. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its net assets in component securities of its underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the component securities of its underlying index.

What I do get frustrated about is this perception that AGG is the only one not performing. Golds at an all time high today. Lets do a reality check on some gold stocks I follow or own as of 1:45pm EDT.

AEM - Agnico - up $1
AGX - Barrick - down
AGG - up 3 cents  (woo hoo!)
ATC - even
CNL - even
CSI - down
GWY - down
IMG - up a touch
KGN - BP's favorite - down
K - even
NMC - down

The only one thats had a bit of an uptick is Agnico. Trading at about $63. 52 week high?? $88 

Let's inject a little bit of objectivity into this discussion.  
 
PS. C5, AGG wasn't around in 1995 and Nikiforuk and Durante were with Banro then.
