Catalyst For SP

Catalyst For SPI didn't get around to reading my National Post / Financial Post until this evening but there was an interesting article in there about a merger between EDV and ADU which are both W Africa based junior producers. The article went on to speculate this could be the catalyst for a lot more activity to come. EDV/ADU clearly went on the record as stating they intend to undertake further aquisitions. I have to think AGG would be a very good fit for their strategy and it would be the kind of deal that would be accretive for both parties, in other words win/win, the best kind of deal. If you do a little research there are other similar small cap and smaller mid cap producers out there besides EDV/ADU.

Interesting to note EDV was founded by Frank Giustra. Google him if the name isn't familiar.

Let's hope this activity is a catalyst for bringing more attention to undervalued juniors like AGG amongst others, and there are many. I hope we're in for an interesting fall.
