The iShares Core U.S. Aggregate Bond ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of the total U.S. investment-grade bond market. The index measures the performance of the total U.S. investment-grade bond market. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its net assets in component securities of its underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the component securities of its underlying index.

You have to consider that banks are manipulating the price for their own benefit. Due to US dollar being hyper-inflated, banks will do anything to buy gold at cheap price and then raise its value in the future when US currency becomes worthless. China is also buying lots of gold from what I've been hearing. Either way, AGG is in good position with NO DEPT. The crash in 08 lowered AGG value but it bounced back from 0.04 to more than a dollar. Today we have a similar situation with Gold prices; AGG will bounce again and score big time once those Gold prices start hitting record highs in the future.
