It seems there has been a truce made between City of Kamloops and the KGHM project manager Clyde Gillespie. Btw. that's no surprise to me once Kamloops Mayor and council were told NO that the BC EAO can't help you, as "charitable and corporate donations" are the decision of KGHM and are not a part of the BC EAO process for approval. The Kamloops Mayor did send a letter to the BC EAO complaining, but the Mayor was told that KGHM does not have to deal with the Mayor and council if they a.k.a. Clyde Gillespie, does not wish to.
They were told this is not a part of the BC EAO process for approval. Having found out this intel. and whom is in charge, that being Clyde Gillespie, it looks like the Kamloops Mayor and council have reapproached KGHM.
