They have over 14 million warrants outstanding...with an average price of around exercise of .3 - that's more like $4 million in additional funds.. that could carry them for a while...

 


Of the 14mm warrants, 11.8mm expire in 2012 (@ 20 - 35 cents). And there are no acceleration clauses attached to the 2012 warrants so forget about getting any $ from those warrants. Why would you exercise them this year when it’s free to hold onto them, you don't have to worry if the SP falls b/c there is no principle $ attached to them and you participate in all the upside? The longer you have them the more leverage you have at a bigger payday down the road. 

Now the 2011 warrants (@ 27.5 - 40 cents) expire between late June and Sep 2011. Holders of those warrants don't have a choice. They either exercise them or lose them. So as long as the SP stays above 40 cents AMG will get the $ from those warrants.
