How could  RKR (or any other non-large shareholder) manage to make this stock go down, without shorting it?

I can't imagine It's THAT easy to manipulate a stock.

And even if RKR wanted to make a run at AMG - they really couldn't do much without an overwhelmingly large % of shareholders backing them, which they'd never get at this price.

The problem here is that there are lots of small shareholders getting scared out of the stock - the lower it goes, the more scared they are.  AND...there are few buyers willing to risk anything in these markets, especially with a company that's a long way from production - so he stock has gone down on small volume.

We need to get some drilling news from Pinaya, quickly followed by Red Mountain and we'll be off to the races...but that's going to take several months, at the soonest, and this could continue to suck for a while...but i seriously don't see how things are manipulated here.
