I bought 650 shares the other day, a whopping $153. We don't all have the same amount to play with. I'm just happy to be in the game.

I think the point is less in the amount but that someone is selling 500 shares (unlikely to be profit taking at that small amount) and selling them 7% under the current share price.

its all about dictating price.. i find it so strange that institutions can play 500board lots all day long yet the average trader would get his hands slapped... different rules for the MM .... no different than the exchange removing the down tic rule... the big boys write their own rule book. now lets see if we get thru R at 24 or if we are stuck here and flooded by the bashing crew end day..

That tibit went over my newbee head, so thanks for the reply. While I'm at it, might as well ask something you guys might see as dumb. The stock closed at 0.23 last night, only 500 shares were traded at 9:30 according to Investors Edge, and the stock opens at 0.22??? How does 500 shares sold move the price at all when 1000's are being traded at a time.

Share price listed is whatever the price of the last sale was...regardless of volume traded. That's why a sell of 500 shares at 7% below current price seems like a clear attempt to drive the price down if other people take the bait.
