RE: New gas well on-line according to Arcan

RE: New gas well on-line according to Arcan

Arcan says:

The Future

Since recieving GPP approval in February 2009, Arcan is convertingone well to an injector.  increased pressure will stabilize gas/oilratios and allow for increased production. These wells were restrictedto approximately 100 (50 net) boe per day and are expected to produce400 (200 net) boe per day after field pressures are stabilized.

Arcan can drill up to eight high producivity development wellswithin the into the "GG" pool under GPP to continue to develop thispool to its maximum potential.

Arcan has three new Slave Point natural gas prospects that it coulddrill, one of which was spud in February 2009.  These wells wouldcomplement any development drilling in the “GG” pool, and would bedescribed as high impact exploration. Arcan is also reviewing possibledevelopment of Bluesky natural gas discovered in the area.

Arcan plans to continue to explore for new Slave Point reefs in theHamburg area. Management has over 20 years of experience drilling SlavePoint targets in this area, achieving a 65 percent historical successratio.
