Leases in the Urban Development Sub-region not compatible with urban development, which includes all oil sands leases and incompatible surface dispositions, will be cancelled to make room for municipal expansion. Lessees will be compensated in accordance with existing legislation.

clearwater phase one is located at airport. Blue outline indicates land release with cancelled oilsands leases.

The question is how much compensation will AOS get. They have spent over 50 million on clearwater to date which is almost 4 times our current market cap..
