RE:RE:RE:Nasdaq/TSX?

RE:RE:RE:Nasdaq/TSX?Funny, electric cars worked? So why did they disappear as fast as they appeared? Let me clarify my literal friend. They didn't work in 1880 and they didn't work in 1980 either as a competitive, practical, useful to 'Everyman' , alternative to a Honda Civic. Ditto for Ballard. It's still not in use because it's just way too expensive. As for the stock, art is where Ballard was in its life cycle 20 years ago. Spectacular breakthrough cutting edge technology. But it has not succeeded in 20 years to live up to the commercial expectations. In other words it flopped. It's up lately with all the greenies piling into it, buts it's down 75% from when it was the cats whiskers. My inly problem is , yes, it's taking too long. They will be leapfrogged into obscurity if they don't charge ahead like musk did. The chinese tried to steal his technology and copy his cars but he has been so successful at promoting, raising capital, and building factories at record pace, nobody can catch him. He is the shatner of Tesla. Tesla sold cars at a big loss to big celebrities and big investors. Art needs a stock price of $100 or $1000 to raise a $billion and build this thing out RFN. (Rightfrickinnow). That is of course if it works!  I'm long, but not married to it. I owned mitel when it went public, rim when it went public, imax when it went public, but none of them today other than as their component parts in index funds. So I'm impatient right now but that's because I don't see the company DOING something meaningful.  I have all kinds of patience if progress is happening in a meaningful way but 'the world ' hasn't recognized it yet. I've avoided being a bag holder many times by cutting bait when the fishing sucks and moving on . I'm giving it a couple months, an eternity in the internet era, to show me. No more fluff. Good luck to us all. I'll nag management and anyone else I can think of about not just the potential of art, but let's go get it done.
tannin wrote: A few thoughts Maxmoe. Tesla's car works, you say; well, wtf, we've had electric cars since the 1880s, of course it works. You'd call Ballard fuel cells a flop, and you'd be wrong. The vehicle aspects Ballard sold to the auto cos that had been supporting the research, and they will start appearing in larger vehicles. buses etc. Stationary uses for the Ballard fuel cells are gaining popularity and the stock is up 300 % this year. and 600% over the last 2 years. Imax hasn't changed the world, but it is a billion dollar corporation...and that ain't peanuts. Now, what exactly are your problems with ART...not going up quickly enough for you ? Wait, when it happens, you wanna be on board. Do I know when that is ? No. But it will, and sooner rather than later. Shatner, Oprah, both great to sell to the consumer mkt, but that's not our mkt. Keep the faith bro, keep the faith.
