Drilling UpdateI'm more interested in is the fact that they have been completely tight lipped about the drilling operations from 1300m to 2200m. They would have penetrated into the cretaceous through the Shiramish and Kometan by now now and if positive would have done a DST test. (stated in NR)
They haven't mentioned anything about what they have encountered or tested to date in this zone. It's not uncommon for these operators to be so tight lipped, but given the fact that VST mentioned in their NR, I would have expected a follow up on that. I understand NIKO is the operator and controls the flow of news.
If there's oil in the cretaceous, they should know this by now. Maybe that's why the drilling is taking 3 mo longer than expected.
