I wouldn't get too excited about the insider buying. It isn't as though it has been happening in any meaningful volume in the past any senior members of the firm. With respect to this private placement, Stan and Sig bought up almost 24% of the first tranche. Is that "good news" or simply an indication that no one on the street wanted to participate? Vast did recently get approval for an extension of the period for this private placement into January. So perhaps this private placement is selling like hot-cakes.
I'm sure this comment will get written off as bashing, but I'm an investor in both VST and LFD and have been disappointed with how everything has played out with both, particularly when other players in the area have had success.
I'm simply willing to look at the information without the benefit of "rose coloured glasses".
