RE:RE:Drew Barrymore acknowledges "CBS Digital"I'm no expert but I wouldn't call the Cameron Diaz image a "Hologram". She didn't actually appear on the New York stage as a hologram floating on the stage. Even ARHT can't do that without special glass panels to progect the image through. It appears that her image was simply added to the video broadcast via some sort of split screen. I believe CBS VFX filmed her in their LA Studio against a green screen so they could add the virtual background of Drew's New York stage and splice it all together seamlessly in the broadcast. Just my opinion, based on the research I've done. I could be wrong.
