Shafter Financing

Shafter FinancingHi AUN Board
I spoke to Jack last week, what I got from the conversation re Shafter financing was that they are waiting for the final draft from the lawyers. The final draft will provide more clarification on minimum requirements to participate. Will be contacting people on the list when ready. Send email to be added.
IMO - a time line of 3-4 months for current financing to close I would think reasonable. I'm expecting late July or August. Might even be close to when 2nd quarter financials will be out.
$40+ million that had to be arrange to acquire Shafter in 2008 took 3 months to arrange and another half month till deal finalized to acquire project.
Apr 3 - Aurcana Acquires Near Term Silver Production Project
Jun 3 - Arranges non-dillutive US$25 million to acquire high grade shafter silver mine
Jul 7 - Aurcana receives US$25 million - Shafter silver mine acquisition to be finalized
Jul 17 - Aurcana finalizes acquisition of shafter silver mines
$2.5 million in late 2009 took 6 weeks to complete,
Oct 15 - Aurcana to complete Non-brokered private placement for up to Cdn 3,300,000 on best effort basis
Nov 30 - Aurcana closes non-brokered finacing for Cdn 2,549,300
Considering the amount that is being raises and done on a best effort basis that is non-brokered, now long is it going to take?? Not sure and have been given no answers, but, I'm prepared to accept a slightly longer timeline that will maximize share holder value. Ongoing positive news will make the wait easier.
Long and strong.
