from Investor relations.....

from Investor relations.....

I talked to Gary and also got this email which he prob. sent to everyone that called.

"Mis information is the biggest problem - it is a motor that burned out, new motor arrived on Aug. 18 and is being replaced this week.  The crusher should be up and running in the next two weeks.  This is not a major problem and it typical in a mine ramp up."

He also said Lenic chose to do the CCall adlib without a script and he got flustered as a result... and ended the cc early.  Gary said he'll do his best to convince Lenic to  not do that again.   I suggested that next time Lenic  use an interpreter so he can think in Spanish and also have a few extra seconds of "think time".  Gary said he would  suggest that to Lenic.   Hopefully Lenic  now realizes that he has a major role to play and he is not talking to locals in some 2-bit Cantina in Texas.

I told Gary in no uncertain terms that it was a major screw up as well as surprising the market with news of the motor which I am sure also surprised investors hoping for some production out of Shafter.  Gary thought it was the conference call that caused the problem.... I think it was a perfect 1-2 combination of PR incompetence.  Long term it may not matter but if this continues it will keep us at $2.00 in the future when we could be closer to $4!

Gary also said they were doing a couple of dog and pony shows in the next couple weeks so hopefully that helps AUN to recover.
