Food for thought

Not long ago, investors who purchased shares in AUN, were willing to fork over more than double the current price for the exact same prospects. What changed? There are still 30 ozs per ton in that mountain. Yep, there are a few more shares o/s and production has been delayed by 175ish days. Many folks who invest in primary silver silver miners do so because they believe that silver is undervalued. That said, if AUN is less than 1/2ish what it formerly sold for and silver is undervalued, does that not make the purchase of AUN shares a highly prospective and potentially profitable exercise ?

Yes maybe, but there are still concerns about the two factors you mention. Forecasts for the price of silver are still uncertain (what value to give to sometimes excessive forecasts of more than $100?). On the other hand, as there have already been several postponements (February, then May then end of 2Q) for the completion of lift #1, doubt may have arisen as to the reality of operation and ...more
