The four way switch is used in the middle of two three way switches. The double pole will depend on what the use is for. If it's a double pole double throw it has 6 termination points and a 4 way has 4 termination points. I guess you are trying to find out if I am an electrician. Why don't you ask me questions about motor controls or PLC's or distribution systems. How about what I have been doing for the last five years before retirement.
