Shorting is BSWhen you purchase shares in Company xyz with "your" money your placing a bet that those shares are going to go up in value. When you decide to sell those shares wheather your a long term or short term investor you are placeing a bet that those shares are going to decrease in value. In other words you are SHORTING. This is how a true investor Shorts stocks,unlike the Scuzzbags' more often Pros that borrow shares that don't belong to them and then use these same shares against the poor retail pri%$k they stole them off.
