In direct answer to my question I emailed Rob on AWE, asking about if Jogmec is bringing in a partner.
Here is his answer, copied directly from the email he sent me in reply. Time to hit the piggy bank and buy in.
Quote: Due to the nature of such a significant milestone, regarding Jogmec bringing in miner, I can only say that they are and it does not effect our structure in terms of percentages. It is Jogmec (who is the exploration arm of the Japanese Government) who is bringing a major miner in. We expect to be able to announce the name and details within 2 weeks from now. A very very significant catylst that we are excited to announce.
