RE:axqwho says? where is this information coming from? This feels like blackmail "you will take this deal or else the company is worth zero" - is that what they're really proposing? Seriously? I refuse to believe Management would actually think like that.
And with a publicly traded company, it should never be like this. Shareholders are given a vote in important decisions. If voted 'for' the resolution is passed. If voted 'against' its up to Management to improve the deal and go back for another vote. I don't see what is hard about this. Its not rocket science. All this fear being spread around that shareholders HAVE to accept the deal or else the company is done, is in my view, ridiculous.
