I don't know whether it's already been made public and i missed it or not but only 5 to 10% of that well was completed and the last 24 hours of testing it flowed over 300 barels of very light oil.
The 102-220 is farther East which might confirm as we drill farther east the liquids might increase
If he said that only 5 to 10% of the 2-20-70-6W6 was completed, that is just a guess on his part. In BBI's Q3 report, they said they couldn't determine how many stages were completed. If everyone thinks that less than 10% was completed, they might be expecting the recompleted well to flow 3000 barrels of oil per day, and that could lead to a disappointment. If Garth said that, he shouldn't have.
As for the more eastern wells producing more liquids, that is not unexpected.
From 25th of July Drilling and Completion Update...: "The 2-20-70-6 Middle Montney well is scheduled to be refrac'd in the middle of September. The Company is evaluating two completions options, being either pin-point or plug and perf. Management estimates that less than 20% of the well was completed during initial fracing operations. The 2-20-70-6 well produced approximately 395 bbls/d of light oil and 243 mcf/d gas during the last 24 hours of a 111-hour production test. This well confirms the presence of and extends the "Volatile Oil" window more than 5 km eastward from Blackbird's previous wells. This well is also important for the continuation of a portion of Blackbird's southeast land block and is planned to be tied in once the Eastern Gathering System is completed."
