RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:New personDitto99, wow that is a straight to the point dismissal by Eric Nuttall. He downgrades the land package and gives no credit to Stage Completions. Fair enough.
Still you have to weigh how sound his advice is compared to how his Sprott Energy Fund is doing. Is his advice that credible given he doesn't appear to be significantly better than BBI. More over his fund's performance vs other funds in the same group is dismal. See below. Moreover he charges quite a premium (Management Fee is 2.5%) for such 'stellar results'.
His monthly excuses/analysis on why the fund is tanking talks about debt being a burden to companies in this sector. Maybe he doesn't know BBI is debt free. He says his fund is built for a 50.00/barrel market... didn't seem to help him in years past. He is the only analyst I've heard speak against BBI, granted there aren't many speaking for it either. Morningstar gives his fund a 2 overall 1 star over the past 10 years. So if you are going to heed his advice again I say take his performance into consideration.
