RE:RE:P2P... power to the peopleBrouwie, having the Feds take over the transmission of Alberta Oil is, in my opinion, a bad idea. They say they will sell the pipeline once a suitable buyer is found. Kind of like when there is a coup and the power taking over promises elections as soon as things stabilize. Very short sighted and opens the door to further appropriation/nationalization of assets. Once they control the transportation of Alberta Oil they can squeeze concessions out of Alberta and backdoor their way to the NEP that Peter Lougheed and his government fought so hard to prevent. This looks like a Phyrric Victory or Trojan Horse scenario.
Again this is my opinion so bear that in mind when you reply.
