Operations will call this 28.174 decks . So 4.6 is about 768 bbl/ day of equivalent. However the profits on gas is smaller. The old rule of thumb was gas about one sixth the price of oil which would mean aeco gas price would need to be $15 for it to be equal. However around $4.56
1 million or 28.174 decks or 167 boe/equivalent at aeco current price of $4.56 means $4560 per 1MMCf daily
$4560 divide 167= $27.30 price per barrell
The positve side is once producing gas is much cheaper in op costs royalties etc.
So at 4.6mmcf this well will do $20k a day just for the gas. slightly more on the liquids hence a 4 month payback.
