Well, let's reason a bit about this issue.
The West Montney, at PIPE N/S level lies deep and is hot.
The east section is a lot cooler and less deep.
The west produces dry gas and the east liquids and some wet gas.

Sounds reasonable, doesn't it?
So from west to east the Montney produces:
(and let's forget about water, sand, dropped spanners and such)
(1) dry gas,
(2) gas with gassified propane/butane, this liquifies upon cooling (typ),
(3) gas with liquid propane/butane + gassified condensate (C5-C7),
(4) gas with, condensate and a bit of C3-C4
(5) gas with condensate + light oil
(6) light oil with a bit of gas and natgas liquids (C3-C7+)
That's the way I understand it.

Now why would people say that PIPE western acreage is better when condensate is the higher earner?
Currently we produce more C3-C4 (low price) and less condensate than BBI ever did on their land.
BBI lands are east of what has been developed until now.
I would say that the best is yet to come.

Have fun.
