RE:RE:RE:Tobacco Companies want a piece of the Cannabis Pie!TTD....I’m not so sure big tobacco is not already here. Look at PEI’s entire cannabis in province industry at least 80% owned by what was Alliance One Internl. As well they bought at least 10% of an Ontario producer . These acquisitions were very much under the radar even to their own shareholders in North Carolina..calling them diversification into unique agricultural opportunities, and the like. You really have to dig to find the word cannabis in their annual report. This is a 145 year old tobacco leaf broker and processor, worldwide who in the last couple of months have changed their name to PYXUS...(pyx), stock used to be (AOI), their new website now makes them look like this amazing 145 year old agricultural co. Hardly mentioning tobacco but now just announcing a new joint venture into a massive industrial hemp operation aimed not at rope fibre and such but at the CBD’s for medical mj market. IMHO this is where the big push will be for the medical market ....huge tobacco co. Owned fields of high cbd producing industrial hemp. So long story short they are already here. But they are well experienced in throwing up “smoke screens”....GLTA.
