RE:RE:CIBC DUMPING HEXO ??????Progressive - This is not hard to understand. It is the clients of CIBC almost exclusively that are selling and buying. Most of the large trades (over 100k shares) are at the end of the day. CIBC acting as brokers try to get the best price for its clients. This is especially true of large volume sales.
Last sale yesterday went to CIBC and by the rules got to set the price for this mornings open. Just prior to open I took a snapshot of the delayed activity. The market opened at 6.90.CIBC set this price (.14 cents Canadian below yesterdays close).
