RE: It's interesting to watch all the speculation.At the risk of oversimplifying the split issue, remember these are venture capitol companies that obtain funding from PP's which provides them with cash to explore.  Those of us that buy old paper on the exchange have to accept that it will be diluted with more paper going forward, and our gamble is that there will be value added to both of the companies based on work they do in exploring and with luck discovering.  Venture companies are gambles at the best of times.  The shares we get on splits are basically seed shares when they become available for trading and rest assured that both KEX and the new company will be going to the market for money in the future to fund exploration.  The purpose of the splits in these small companies is to allow for separate PP's not much more.  Just remember that these small exploration companies only make you money on discovery or specualtion based on properties.  I agree Kex has a bundle of properties which adds to the speculative value.  When exploration starts or when new properties are obtained that is when we see trading .. either up or down .. and we will see the same with Archean Star.
