Under the rules Barrick is limited to 20% of the float unless it makes a play for the entire company.  There is absolutely nothing limiting another major from picking up a 20% position.  They can do it by buying shares from the treasury or picking up the shares on the open market.  Just because Barrick was the first to sit down at the table doesn't give it a monopoly on BIG.

It is possible that another major is accumulating.  It is also possible that a fund/ETF is doing the buying or maybe a rich investor like Eric Sprott.  Maybe Elon Musk needs Copper?!

Slightly off the BIG topic here Retiredgeo. Since copper is what we are all looking for here at BIG, I am curious of your opinion, if you have one, on the recent VTEM servey results conducted by Bayhorse Silver (TSXV: BHS ) several km's from the BIG property. I was in both of these companies for silver early on. Now it appears that copper will be the main draw. Lucky me, and us, if it proves

Sorry, I am not paying any attention to the surrounding parties.  Hercules Silver will have the honey pot.  They just need to prove it.  My money is on BIG.
