Holy Moly, Molybdenum $Copper byprodut

Holy Moly, Molybdenum $Copper byprodut

New metal. Molybdenum! Needed to make steel, crazy volatile economy metal. Shiny, Cheap. Necessary in alloys and other things. And China is stockpiling it. Moly!

Moly is most often mined as a byproduct in large copper porphyry deposits.

Molybdenum copper alloys are made by combining molybdenum with copper, resulting in a material with improved thermal and electrical conductivity. Molybdenum copper alloys have a high melting point and a low thermal expansion coefficient, making them resistant to thermal creep and deformation at high temperatures.

Moly trades at $20/lb, almost 5 times the price of $Copper. Ore grade moly deposits begin at 1%.
