RE:RE:selloff certainly not gonna bash ...but have to wonder why DXE/NFK management didn't ensure intensity of explosive caps...even a pre-test would have been standard to ensure this vital stage was successful...over $10 mil into this well and all management do is raise cash and sit back..
here's some concerns..
CAN THIS BE FIXED? If there is a lot of mud and cement solidified around the tubing, can this well still become operational??
Re: Imaging Tool – 30 Day Wait ... ???
it is probably a gamma ray spectral imaging tool and camera- so potentially hazardous material and therefore will require special permits to get through. Remember the cased hole neutron tool was held up in customs too. Remember there is a bit of s..t going on in Tunisia at the moment so I think Customs will be very careful.
The explosives were near the end of shelf life and probably not stored optimally. The operation had to use the in-country stock and this is the problem. Remember it's probably next to impossible to bring this kind of stuff into a Muslim country
I think the special equipment will cause the most delays..until it is confirmed that Schlumberger, the well service contractor, were negligent ,and will re-run at their expense, then the next phase...IF ANY..?..is upin the air
